Hockey
by Shark on Ice
The ideal house-level player will have completed the Hockey 1, 2 and 3 classes, or another comparable program at another rink. House players have basic skating skills, feel comfortable on their skates, have a love for the game of hockey, are committed to attending all ice sessions when possible, and a willingness to learn and improve.
Our programs are designed to enable players to develop their individual skills in a fun and rewarding environment. On-ice instruction focuses on teaching players the proper techniques of the four fundamentals of hockey: skating, puckhandling, passing and shooting. In addition to individual skill development, players are introduced to the basic rules of the game, team play and the importance of teamwork, enabling them to be successful in their progression onto the subsequent levels of play.
